Support Initiative 305
Colorado has a corruption problem—and we need tougher laws to stop it.
Colorado’s Ethics Commission investigated former Governor Hickenlooper for accepting free private jet trips and luxury limo rides.
It ruled that Hickenlooper violated ethics laws.
But a loophole blocked the Commission from investigating all of Hickenlooper’s free trips and gifts.
It's time to take a stand against corruption. Join your fellow Coloradans and sign the petition to support a constitutional amendment that will root out corruption in the future. Check out the language of the amendment below:
"Shall there be an amendment to the Colorado constitution extending the time for filing a complaint with the independent ethics commission against a covered government official or employee alleging an ethics violation from one year to eight years after the alleged misconduct."
It's time to take a stand and affirm that politicians should serve We the People, not themselves.
